A recent study done by Tuskegee University has proven that Agnihotra ash, when put in any water source, will purify, reestablish ph balance, and remove bacteria from the water.
At Shanti Villa Institute, home of HTAA, there were experiments with two 1500 gallon rainwater catching tanks. The water in both tanks was tested before the Agnihotra ash and after the ash was put in the water. The results are pretty exciting!

So as you can see, the Agnihotra ash purified the rainwater in each tank significantly. ALL bacteria was removed, the ph level rose to an Alkaline level, and the Enviromental Protection Agency's (EPA) recommended limits were met with ease.
The good news is you can do the same to your water at home! Just apply a small amount of Agnihotra ash to your drinking water and let it sit for minimum of three days.
