I have been practicing Agnihotra since past 18 years. I remember two specific experiences about the healing effect of Agnihotra.
A few years back my elder son injured himself. He fell down and his forehead hit against a stone. He was bleeding profusely. The bleeding continued and did not show any sign of stopping. I applied the filtered Agnihotra Ash on the wound, the bleeding stopped and then we took him to the doctor. The doctor then stitched the wound. He was afraid that the wound would be infected because we had put 'some ash' on it. However nothing of that sort happened and on the contrary the wound healed quickly.
When my younger son had contacted measles the doctor had said that it will take at least 21 days to cure, however he recovered fully in just 6 days. Overall the Agnihotra atmosphere has helped the family in keeping good health. I have observed that the common seasonal illnesses which affect others around us, do not affect our family members. Agnihotra increases the body's resistance power of the body.
